33 Joints and Fabulous Footwear are two of the leading fashion footwear distribution companies in the UK and Europe. They currently hold the footwear license for an eclectic mix of brands which include Ben Sherman, Farah, Original Penguin, Osprey, Lambretta, JCB and NASA.
We were approached to design a footwear showroom on Emerald Street with limited budget and limited space – and so The Green Room was born; a lightweight, plug-and-play display system made from 100% recycled and recyclable cardboard. This material choice allowed the units to be manufactured and shipped at low cost and to be assembled in the venue by staff without any glue, tools or a need to outsource additional labour.
At the end of it’s life, it can be carefully disassembled and flat-packed ready for next time, or it can be broken down and put in a domestic recycling bin.
